Seafood Boil In A Bag

A delicious and hearty seafood boil cooked conveniently in a bag, perfect for gatherings and easy cleanup.

Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 2 pounds small red potatoes halved
  • 1 pound andouille sausage sliced
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
For the Seafood
  • 1 pound shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound mussels cleaned
  • 1 pound clams cleaned
For the Garnish
  • 1 lemon lemon cut into wedges
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

Prepare the Boil
  1. In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Add the halved potatoes and sliced sausage, along with the Old Bay seasoning. Cook for 15 minutes.
  3. After 15 minutes, add the mussels and clams to the pot and cook for another 5 minutes.
Add the Seafood
  1. Finally, add the shrimp to the pot and cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
  2. Remove the pot from heat and let it sit for 2 minutes to cool slightly.
Serve
  1. Carefully pour the contents into a large serving dish or divide among bags.
  2. Garnish with lemon wedges and chopped parsley before serving.

Notes
