  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 4 legs chicken legs

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine orange juice, lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Whisk the ingredients together until well blended.
Marinate the Chicken
  1. Place the chicken legs in a large resealable plastic bag or bowl.
  2. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are well coated.
  3. Seal the bag or cover the bowl, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight for maximum flavor.
Cook the Chicken
  1. Preheat your grill or oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  3. Place the chicken legs on the grill or in a baking dish, and cook for 35-40 minutes, turning occasionally, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Serve
  1. Once cooked, remove the chicken legs from the grill or oven and let rest for 5 minutes.
  2. Serve hot with your choice of sides.
