Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
For the Topping
  • 2 cups Lucky Charms cereal

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Add the Lucky Charms
  1. Gently fold in the Lucky Charms cereal into the cookie dough until evenly distributed.
  2. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake the Cookies
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  2. Remove from oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
