Loaded Cheesy Fries are crispy, golden fries topped with gooey cheese, crispy bacon, and fresh green onions. Perfect for a party or game day snack!

Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 4 large russet potatoes cut into fries
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for coating
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper to taste
For the Topping
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese or cheese of choice
  • 1 cup cooked bacon crumbled
  • 1/4 cup green onions sliced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream for drizzling

Method
 

Prepare the Fries
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and cut the russet potatoes into fries. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the potato fries with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
Add Toppings
  1. Once the fries are done baking, remove them from the oven and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the hot fries.
  2. Add crumbled bacon on top of the cheese.
  3. Return the loaded fries to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  4. Remove from oven and top with sliced green onions and a drizzle of sour cream.
Serve
  1. Serve immediately while hot and enjoy your loaded cheesy fries!
