This delicious lasagna for two combines layers of pasta, rich meat sauce, and creamy cheese for a perfect cozy dinner.

Ingredients
  

For the Meat Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup ground beef
  • 1 cup crushed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
For the Cheese Mixture
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 egg large
For the Lasagna
  • 4 sheets lasagna noodles uncooked

Method
 

Prepare the Meat Sauce
  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in crushed tomatoes, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Simmer the sauce for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Prepare the Cheese Mixture
  1. In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and egg.
  2. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
Assemble the Lasagna
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Spread a layer of meat sauce in a small baking dish.
  3. Place two lasagna noodles over the sauce.
  4. Spread half of the cheese mixture over the noodles.
  5. Repeat layers with meat sauce, noodles, and cheese mixture, finishing with meat sauce on top.
Bake the Lasagna
  1. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  3. Let the lasagna cool for 10 minutes before serving.
