Prepare the Dough
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add the vanilla extract and eggs, mixing well until fully combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Add Mix-Ins and Bake
- Fold in the chocolate chips, nuts, oats, toasted coconut, and M&Ms until evenly distributed.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
