Ingredients
Method
Marinate the Chicken
- In a large bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, and ginger.
- Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for best flavor.
Cook the Chicken
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Remove chicken from marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off. Place chicken thighs skin-side down in the hot skillet.
- Cook for about 7-8 minutes, or until the skin is crispy and golden brown.
- Flip the chicken thighs and pour the remaining marinade into the skillet. Reduce heat to medium, cover, and cook for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
Serve
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Serve the chicken thighs garnished with sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Drizzle with any remaining sauce from the skillet.
