Ham Pot Pie

A comforting ham pot pie filled with tender ham, vegetables, and a creamy sauce, all encased in a flaky crust.

Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 2 cups diced cooked ham
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables peas, carrots, corn
  • 1 cup cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup milk
For the Crust
  • 1 package pre-made pie crusts 2 crusts

Method
 

Prepare the Filling
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced cooked ham, frozen mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, and milk. Stir until well mixed.
Assemble the Pot Pie
  1. Place one pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish, pressing it against the bottom and sides.
  2. Pour the ham and vegetable mixture into the pie crust, spreading it evenly.
  3. Cover the filling with the second pie crust. Seal the edges by crimping with a fork and cut a few slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
Bake the Pot Pie
  1. Place the pot pie in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  2. Check the pie halfway through; if the edges are browning too quickly, cover them with foil.
Cool and Serve
  1. Once baked, remove the pot pie from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
  2. Slice into wedges and enjoy your delicious ham pot pie!

Notes
