Easy Salted Date Bark

This delightful salted date bark combines rich chocolate with sweet dates and a hint of sea salt, making it a perfect treat for any occasion.

Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips melted
  • 1 cup pitted dates chopped
For the Topping
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips melted
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

Method
 

  1. Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring after each until smooth.
  3. Pour the melted dark chocolate into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  4. Evenly distribute the chopped dates over the melted chocolate layer, pressing them in slightly.
  5. Melt the white chocolate chips in a separate bowl using the same method as the dark chocolate.
  6. Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the date layer, spreading it to cover completely.
  7. Sprinkle the sea salt evenly over the top of the bark.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until set. Once firm, remove from the pan and break into pieces.
