For the Base
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups chocolate pudding mix
  • 4 cups milk cold
For the Topping
  • 1 pkg chocolate sandwich cookies crushed
  • 1 cup gummy worms for decoration

Method
 

Prepare the Cream Cheese Mixture
  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter and cream cheese until smooth and well combined.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until fully incorporated and creamy.
Make the Chocolate Pudding
  1. In another bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and cold milk until thickened, about 2 minutes.
  2. Layer the pudding mixture on top of the cream cheese mixture, spreading evenly.
Assemble the Casserole
  1. In a large serving dish, spread the cream cheese mixture evenly across the bottom.
  2. Pour the chocolate pudding mixture over the cream cheese layer and spread evenly.
  3. Top with the crushed chocolate sandwich cookies, spreading them to cover the pudding layer completely.
Add the Gummy Worms
  1. Decorate the top with gummy worms, placing them randomly across the cookie layer.
Chill and Serve
  1. Cover the casserole with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
  2. Serve chilled, scooping into portions and enjoying the fun layers!
