Prepare the Spread
- In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with lemon juice and chopped dill until smooth.
- Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture onto one side of each slice of bread.
Assemble the Sandwiches
- On half of the bread slices, layer the thin cucumber slices evenly.
- Top with the remaining bread slices, cream cheese side down, to form sandwiches.
Cut and Serve
- Carefully cut each sandwich into quarters or halves, depending on your preference.
- Arrange the cucumber sandwiches on a platter and serve immediately.

Notes
For added flavor, you can sprinkle some salt on the cucumber slices before assembling the sandwiches. These can be made a few hours in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
