Prepare the Chicken
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken, paprika, and garlic powder together.
- Dip each piece of the chicken in the beaten egg and then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Place the breaded chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Assemble the Sandwiches
- While the chicken is baking, toast the sourdough bread slices until golden.
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing and toss well.
- Once the chicken is done, layer the lettuce mixture on the bottom slice of each bread.
- Top with crispy chicken, then sprinkle shredded parmesan cheese on top.
- Finish with the top slice of bread, cut in half, and serve immediately.
