Prepare the Base

- Cut the cinnamon roll dough into quarters and place them in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.

- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces in the baking dish.
- Ensure all pieces are well-coated and let sit for 10 minutes to soak.
Bake the Casserole
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until golden brown and set in the center.
Serve
- Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
- Drizzle maple syrup over the top and sprinkle with chopped pecans, if using.
- Cut into squares and serve warm.
