Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables thawed
For the Stuffing
  • 1 box stuffing mix about 6 ounces
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1 cup water
For the Topping
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Method
 

Prepare the Base
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and thawed mixed vegetables. Mix until well combined.
Prepare the Stuffing
  1. In a separate bowl, combine the stuffing mix, melted butter, and water. Stir until the stuffing mix is moistened.
Assemble the Dish
  1. Spread the chicken mixture evenly in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Top the chicken mixture with the prepared stuffing, spreading it evenly over the top.
Bake
  1. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top, and bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve
  1. Remove from the oven and let it sit for 5 minutes before serving.
  2. Scoop onto plates and enjoy!

Notes
