Method
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess fat.
- In the same skillet, grill the chicken breast slices for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
- Toast the whole grain bread slices until golden brown.
- Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of toasted bread.
- Layer the grilled chicken on two slices of bread, followed by crispy bacon, romaine lettuce, and tomato slices.
- Top with the remaining slices of bread, mayonnaise side down, to create the sandwich.
- Cut the sandwiches in half and serve immediately.
