  • 1 pound chicken breast sliced into thin strips
  • 4 cups cabbage shredded
  • 1 cup carrot julienned
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil for frying
For the Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon ginger grated
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons scallions sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather all the ingredients and prepare them as indicated.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic to create the sauce.
Cooking
  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the chicken strips and stir-fry for about 5 minutes or until they are cooked through.
  3. Add the shredded cabbage and julienned carrots to the skillet, stirring frequently for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  4. Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables, stirring to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with sliced scallions and sesame seeds before serving.
