  • 16 oz mascarpone cheese
  • 24 savoiardi cookies (ladyfingers)
  • 1 cup brewed espresso (cooled)

  • Chopped chocolate or additional pistachios for garnish

Instructions

  1. Brew the espresso and let it cool.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine mascarpone cheese and powdered sugar; whip until smooth. Add heavy cream and whip until stiff peaks form.
  3. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled espresso and layer them in your serving dish.
  4. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, then repeat with another layer of dipped cookies and remaining cream.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  6. Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and garnish with chopped pistachios.
