  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

  1. Butter one side of each slice of bread generously.
  2. Spread pesto on the unbuttered side of one slice.
  3. Layer mozzarella cheese on top of the pesto and cover with the second slice of bread, butter side out.
