  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (100g)

Instructions

  1. Activate the yeast by combining warm water, sugar, and yeast in a small bowl. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Pour the foamy yeast mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until a shaggy dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap or a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  6. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the risen dough and shape it into a loaf on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Top with shredded cheese.
