  1. Crush 24 Oreo cookies in a ziplock bag until fine crumbs form.
  2. Mix the crushed Oreos with melted butter in a bowl, then press this mixture into the bottom of a rectangular baking dish to create the crust.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk until thickened.
  4. Fold in the whipped topping until smooth.
  5. Layer half of the pudding over the crust, followed by a layer of crushed Oreos. Repeat with remaining pudding and Oreos.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
