  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (divided)

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix the brownie mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and half of the chocolate chips until just combined.
  3. In another bowl, beat softened butter and brown sugar until creamy. Mix in flour, remaining chocolate chips, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Spoon brownie batter into muffin cups until halfway full. Add a spoonful of cookie dough on top, then finish with more brownie batter until nearly full.
  5. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  6. Cool in the pan for five minutes before transferring to wire racks.
